Situated in picturesque Great Falls, VA, Holly Knoll Park is an oasis of tranquil natural beauty and recreational activities for residents and visitors alike. Featuring looping trails, lush greenery, and several recreational facilities, there’s something for everyone at Holly Knoll Park. Holly Knoll Park was established in 1979 by the Fairfax County Park Authority and spanned over 177 acres of land and woodlands. The park has three separate trails; a 1.09-mile main loop trail, a 1.7-mile educational loop trail, and a 0.2-mile nature trail. The main loop trail features several breathtakingly beautiful overlooks of the park’s valleys and woodlands, making it a striking walking and jogging route. The educational loop trail also offers many views and is also used to provide educational classes by local elementary and middle schools as part of their field trips.
